| My client, a large consumer electronics company is looking for a National accounts Manager to join their Electrical Specialist team.
Purpose of job:
* National Account Manager reporting to Channel Manager, working as part of a team of 4 NAM's in the Electrical Specialist Channel.
* Job holder will also offer feedback on market information and competitors activity and report the business concisely in order for the company to operate a pro active go to market approach in the channel
* Provide insight and solutions needed to achieve the strategies and objectives of the department in the largest Electrical Retailer in the UK and Ireland
Key objectives & responsibilities
Manage the DSGI Account, looking after sales of CTV, Home AV products in all chains of DSGi in the UK and Ireland
* Key responsibilities will be to deliver sales performance against an individual target, on both a quantitative and a qualitative nature.
* Develop Channel strategy to achieve divisional and corporate objectives* Delivering the key strategies to market
* Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally within DSGi and UK, including Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, SCM, Sales Operations, Finance and Logistics teams.
* Promote the company's brand within DSGi to mirror our status as a Tier player and brand leader
* Creating sufficient brand worth within DSGi sector to become the brand of choice for the future
* Developing customer relationships throughout the sales channel, on a buying, marketing and operational basis
* Be able to work within a team environment whilst also being able to be self motivated and have the initiative to develop and implement a channel strategy
* To be comfortable conversing with both the customer and Internally at all levels
Essential Hard Skills:
Must be able to demonstrate experience at Senior NAM level dealing with Multiple / National Account Customer(s)
Electronics Industry Sales Background (Browns / Whites)
Excel / Powerpoint Intermediate - minimum standard
Essential Soft skills
Strong personality with the ability to negotiate the company's position / goals at Buyer / Senior Buyer level
Ability to take on 'Mind of an auditor' approach to budget management and control
Internal customer care essential across support divisions
Must maintain high level of detailed Reporting in all applicable forms
Desirable skills required
Experience of Direct Involvement in weekly supply chain management processes (Sales Planning / Logistics)
Statistical Experience
